What is the Next Big Idea Club?
The Next Big Idea Club is a book subscription community curated by some of the world’s leading thinkers: Susan Cain (Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can't Stop Talking), Malcolm Gladwell (The Tipping Point, Blink, Outliers), Adam Grant (Give and Take, Originals), and Daniel H. Pink (Drive, To Sell is Human). Together, these bestselling authors select each season's two most exciting new nonfiction books, and then we send them straight to you.
What kind of books can I expect in my box?
In each box, you will receive 2 newly released hardcover books. These books are the most exciting, groundbreaking titles of the season. Topics range from psychology to science, business to happiness, and more.
Are the books new releases, or will they be the ones shown in the pictures on the website?
All of the books selected will be new releases. The books currently on the site are included to give readers a sense of what the book selections will be like.
What else do I get in addition to the books?
A lot! In addition to the 2 newly released books, you will also receive bonus course materials and an original video e-course for each title.

Course materials for each book include:
     • Letter from the Next Big Idea Club curator that selected the book
     • 4-page overview, featuring essential concepts and actionable insights
     • Reading quiz to lock in your learning
     • Interactive exercise to integrate the material into your life right away
     • List of memorable, shareable facts to get the conversation started (and win trivia night)

Video materials for each book include:
     • 30-minute video e-course, where the author highlights the book's essential ideas and also discusses material not found in the book
     • Author interview with the Next Big Idea Club curator that selected the book
If I sign up now, can I also get the books from past seasons?
Although we can't offer hardcover or digital copies of past seasons' books, members do get access to all bonus materials from past seasons, including the exclusive curator interviews, video e-courses, interactive exercises, and more.

If you're already a Next Big Idea Club member, you can sign in to the Bonus Material Portal by clicking here. Start by entering the email address you used to purchase your membership. (Gift recipients, be sure to enter your email, not the gifter's email.) Then just create a password (if it's your first visit), and you're good to go!
How much does membership cost?
That all depends on what kind of membership you'd prefer. For example, a quarterly hardback subscription is $59 — which includes all of the bonus materials at no additional cost. Our brand new BYOB (Bring Your Own Book) option gives you instant access to all bonus materials and our online forum for under $8 per month.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Email us at cancel@nextbigideaclub.com. If you are canceling a gift subscription, let us know in the body of the email.
How do I update my billing or address information?

Is shipping free?
Yes, totally free!
I love e-books! Is there a digital membership?
Glad you asked! We have partnered with Kindle to offer a digital version of the Next Big Idea Club. You'll receive e-book versions of the titles, and digital files and links for all of the bonus content. A digital membership subscription costs $49/quarter.

Just be sure that you have a compatible kindle device or use the free Kindle app for compatible iPhone, iPad, Android OS smartphones and tablets.
How do I join the Next Big Idea Club?

When will my first box ship?
Due to varying book publication schedules, shipping dates vary. We will send an email with the expected arrival date as soon as your box ships.
When will my box arrive?
Most orders will arrive within 3-7 business days of shipping (although this isn’t guaranteed). We’ll send you an email in advance, so you can get your coziest reading chair ready to go.
Does the Next Big Idea Club ship internationally?
Due to high international shipping costs, we don't offer international fulfillment. International readers are encouraged to sign up for our digital-only membership, which provides e-book versions of the titles plus digital files and links for all of the bonus content.
Can I skip a season?
We plan to offer that feature in the future. We’ll keep you updated!
When will I be billed?
After subscribing, you will be billed immediately for your first season. After that, you will be billed every 3 months.
How do gifts work?
When you sign up to send someone a gift subscription, you will choose a seasonal or annual version. If you choose seasonal, your recipient will receive the next season’s selection. Choose annual, and your recipient will receive the next four seasons.

You will receive a gift receipt that you can print and share with the lucky recipient (or simply email it to them). Then step back and wait for that big bear hug o’thanks.
What is your return policy?
Because Next Big Idea Club is a subscription box, we don’t allow returns or substitutions of anything in your box unless something is damaged. If anything in your box is damaged please contact support@nextbigideaclub.com, and we will either send you a replacement item or issue a refund for the damaged item. If you are not satisfied with the product for any reason within the first 30 days, we will issue a refund, no questions asked.
How does the Next Big Idea Club support the work of The Future Project?
The Future Project is truly the perfect partner for us. By embedding their Dream Directors in public high schools across the country, they empower tens of thousands of students to find their passion, enact positive change, and strive for personal and professional success.

We believe that the right book—the right idea—at the right time can be life-changing, so all four of our curators are donating 100% of their profits to provide books for these students in under-resourced communities. We are donating two books for every subscription sold, and we’re already approaching 7,000 books!
How does the Next Big Idea Club help foster a community of readers?
We’ve all daydreamed about sitting down for a coffee with our favorite writer, and that’s the exact experience we’re shooting for—each subscriber gets access to an online forum where Malcolm, Susan, Adam, and Daniel will be chiming in to talk about the season’s books. And we’re even more excited to see a community, a true book club, emerge among our subscribers, as the forum will give them the opportunity to exchange ideas and really get to know one another. We’ve even had subscribers ask us for tips on starting local, in-person Next Big Idea Club chapters!
Never stop reading. Never stop learning. Never stop growing.
